This will include Golf, Tennis and all food & beverage locations (except ordering from the Marsh Grille Curbside only). The Pools and Fitness facility will remain closed.
This includes all Club guests – accompanied guests, guests of members, extended families and rental/lease guests. They believe this is a necessary step to ensure the safety of the membership and staff.

The Marsh Grille is OPEN for Curbside to EVERYONE: Tuesday-Saturday- Lunch 12PM-3PM/ Dinner 5PM-8PM & Sunday Brunch/Lunch 10AM-2PM by calling the MG directly at (843) 527-6040. UPDATE: 1:09 PM, Friday, May 1st, 2020
Earlier this week, Georgetown County Council voted to open the public beach accesses throughout the county on May 1st. The town of Pawleys Island had previously passed a town council ordinance keeping the island accesses closed unless the county opened on May 1st, in which case they too would open their public accesses at that time. Beaches throughout Georgetown County will be open beginning Friday at noon.
Georgetown County Council’s current ban on short term rentals and hotel accommodations expired on April 30th so this will allow short term rental guests to begin arriving again this weekend; however, the Town of Pawleys Island did extend their short term rental ban through May 8th.
Several Executive Orders from Governor Henry McMaster remain in effect statewide for South Carolina including but not limited to the state of emergency, social distancing practices, and travel restrictions for visitors from areas identified as COVID-19 hotspots by the CDC.
At this time, DeBordieu Rentals will begin receiving guests and new reservations in compliance with these local and state orders on May 1st. For Peace Vacations properties we will begin receiving guests on May 1st for all properties other than those located on Pawleys Island, this will resume on May 8th unless the town council makes a decision to change the current dates of their ban.
As our offices re-open, our staff will continue to use best practices for hygiene, cleaning, and social distancing as health and safety remain our top priority.
We will continue to provide updates as pertinent information becomes available.

From January to December, there’s always a reason to visit the South Carolina coast. The year has just begun and we’ve already found an amazing selection of Grand Strand events happening in 2020. Let us help you plan your trip and make the most of your time visiting here through special experiences in your favorite interests: art, history, culture, music, sports, food and more!
Winter time along the coast offers a quieter season perfect for a couple’s romantic stay over Valentine’s Day, a girlfriends’ getaway to wine, dine & shop, or an athletic adventure to achieve a New Year’s Resolution.
As the marsh grass grows and the flowers bloom, you’ll see the lowcountry come alive during a spring vacation. Visiting during this time of year is ideal for bringing the whole family while on break from school or for bird watching at Hunting Beach State Parks, Brookgreen Gardens, and many other nature trails you can find along the Waccamaw Neck. One of the most popular events during this time of year is the Prince George Plantation Tours, which tickets go on sale for February 10th through March 13th. Also, beginning on April 8th, you can experience another ticketed spring event with the much anticipated Bruce Munro: Southern Light at Brookgreen Gardens on select nights through September 12th.
Summer is the season where everyone wants to be at the beach! Cool ocean breezes and warm sands create a dreamy combination for days spent soaking in the sun or paddling in the waves. If you are a country music fan, you don’t want to miss the chance to see your favorite artists perform along the coast at the annual Carolina Country Music Festival in Myrtle Beach over June 4th through the 7th. Then, mark your calendar for the 4th of July to celebrate this patriotic holiday here with parades, fireworks, and festivities that are great fun for all ages!
If you want to live like a local, try visiting here in the autumn. You’ll easily feel the rhythm of the laidback, coastal lifestyle that residents here enjoy year round. Throughout the fall, you will find many seasonal festivals and annual celebrations that highlight the unique, vibrant characteristics of our local history, heritage & culture such as the Georgetown Wooden Boat Show on October 17-18, 2020. Another must-do tradition along the Grand Strand is Brookgreen Garden’s Nights of a Thousand Candles, a spectacular light display that welcomes the holiday season in beauty & radiance.
For more information about our area or to plan a trip to attend any of these upcoming events, please give us a call at 843-527-9894. Stay tuned for new events and dates to mark your calendars as we see all that this new year has in store. We look forward to welcoming our 2020 guests throughout the year!
From the DeBordieu Rentals family to yours, we hope that you have an exceptional 2020!
2019 was filled with many happy memories made throughout each vacation taken by our special guests here. We look forward to sharing in many more visits with you all in 2020 at DeBordieu!
The DeBordieu Rentals office will be closed on January 1st, 2020 in honor of the holiday. We will resume regular hours on Thursday January 2nd, 2020.
