UPDATE: Friday, July 17, 2020 at 4:31 pm

After much discussion, the Club’s Board of Governors made the decision not to allow guests to use the Club facilities until at least October 1st. This will include Golf, Tennis and all food & beverage locations (except ordering from the Marsh Grille Curbside only). The Pools and Fitness facility will remain closed.

This includes all Club guests – accompanied guests, guests of members, extended families and rental/lease guests. They believe this is a necessary step to ensure the safety of the membership and staff.

Because a Visa or MasterCard is accepted at the Marsh Grille Curbside, temporary guest accounts will not be made at this time. The Marsh Grille is OPEN for Curbside to EVERYONE: Tuesday-Saturday- Lunch 12PM-3PM/ Dinner 5PM-8PM & Sunday Brunch/Lunch 10AM-2PM by calling the MG directly at (843) 527-6040. The menu can be found on the public DeBordieu Club Facebook page along with any specials and promotions.

UPDATE: Friday, July 3, 2020 at 8:45 am

Via Georgetown County Chamber of Commerce: “Beginning July 3 at 12 am, employees and members of the public will be required to wear masks that cover the nose and mouth in Georgetown County businesses, including grocery stores, pharmacies, restaurants and retail stores. Restaurant patrons are exempt while dining, but employees must wear a mask at all times while having face-to-face interaction with the public.”

This ordinance is for the next 60 days unless the Georgetown County Council ends it sooner. To read the full ordinance, please visit this link here: http://www.georgetowncountysc.org/Emergency_Management/docs/mask_ordinance_unsigned.pdf

UPDATE: Friday, June 26, 2020 at 3:50 pm

The Club and its amenities have extended the restrictions until further notice and the Board will vote again July 17th.

UPDATE: 3:13 PM, Friday, May 14th, 2020

At this time, the DeBordieu Club amenities including pools, golf, tennis, and restaurants are closed to guests for health & safety precautions through at least July 5th. To-go items are available at the restaurants. For questions or more information, contact your reservation specialist or visit The DeBordieu Club Facebook page .

UPDATE: 1:09 PM, Friday, May 1st, 2020

Earlier this week, Georgetown County Council voted to open the public beach accesses throughout the county on May 1st. The town of Pawleys Island had previously passed a town council ordinance keeping the island accesses closed unless the county opened on May 1st, in which case they too would open their public accesses at that time. Beaches throughout Georgetown County will be open beginning Friday at noon.

Georgetown County Council’s current ban on short term rentals and hotel accommodations expired on April 30th so this will allow short term rental guests to begin arriving again this weekend; however, the Town of Pawleys Island did extend their short term rental ban through May 8th.

Several Executive Orders from Governor Henry McMaster remain in effect statewide for South Carolina including but not limited to the state of emergency, social distancing practices, and travel restrictions for visitors from areas identified as COVID-19 hotspots by the CDC.

For more information and details on these orders, please visit the  Georgetown County or Town of Pawleys Island websites and the other resources below.

At this time, DeBordieu Rentals will begin receiving guests and new reservations in compliance with these local and state orders on May 1st. For Peace Vacations properties we will begin receiving guests on May 1st for all properties other than those located on Pawleys Island, this will resume on May 8th unless the town council makes a decision to change the current dates of their ban.

As our offices re-open, our staff will continue to use best practices for hygiene, cleaning, and social distancing as health and safety remain our top priority.

We will continue to provide updates as pertinent information becomes available.
