The 47th Annual Georgetown Blue Marlin Tournament takes place in Georgetown Landing beginning Wednesday, May 21 and lasting through Sunday, May 25. If you’re one of the lucky anglers that are going to attend this year’s tournament we have some outstanding accommodations where you can rest and relax at the end of each day. No matter what that looks like to you – camped out in front of the TV, sitting by the pool, playing in the ocean surf, or a round on the links – we’ve got it all right here for you at DeBordieu Rentals.

All registered boats must be checked-in with the Tournament Committee and entry fee paid by 6:30pm, May 21 to qualify for prizes and trophies. At least one person from each boat should be present at the Captain’s meeting and is responsible for knowing the tournament rules including any changes that may take place at the meeting on the Wednesday evening prior to the tournament.

Boats are required to leave from Georgetown, South Carolina, Winyah Bay, must fish in the coastal waters of South Carolina, and may not leave the dock before 3:00 a.m. No lines in the water before 8:00 a.m., including teasers and fishing for live bait. Lines out of the water each day at 3:00 p.m. Boats will fish two-out-of-three eligible fishing days, Captain’s Choice. Eligible fishing days are: Thursday, May 22, Friday, May 23, and Saturday, May 24. In the event these three days of fishing are cancelled, then Sunday, May 26 shall be a fishing day (weather day).

Boats must declare a fishing or non-fishing day by VHF, telephone, cell phone, fax or in person prior to leaving its slip/dock or before 6:00 a.m. of that day.
