Pawleys Island Festival

Why not kick off his special day early on Thursday evening. The 4th annual Pawleys Island Fest is taking place from 6-10 p.m. on Thursday, June 18. This popular annual event is filled with fun for everyone in the family. Presented by the Rotary Club of Pawleys Island, it benefits Alzheimer’s research.

This big old-fashioned island party is free for the whole family. It’s being held at the Hammock Shops Village, 10880 Ocean Hwy., Pawleys Island. There will be food and drink available for purchase by local vendors so why not plan on having dinner with us.

Bring your lawn chairs and dancing shoes because there will also be a musical performance by Latitude. Lots of kid’s activities will be on hand as well. Sorry, no coolers or pets allowed. For questions, please email Mediaspeaksouth@gmail.com.

Myrtle Beach Speedway

Put the Bam! Factor in Father's Day This Year

To take Father’s Day over the top this year why not take Dad to the Myrtle Beach Speedway where he can ride in a Monster Truck, experience driving a NASCAR for himself or ride along in a pace car. These are great opportunities that will leave a memorable impression on your Dad. You can buy your tickets online ahead of time on their website.

No matter how you decide to spend Father’s Day we’re sure your Dad will be happy just being able to spend time with you.
